A truly Michigan inspired piece. You get the best of both worlds here, water and land, Michigan's specialties, and they never disappoint. I layered everything symbolic of a walk through the forest in the top part in a tinted green resin layer. The bottom represents pretty much any given lake in Michigan, but let's be real, I basically thought about Torch Lake. How could I not with these gorgeous swirling turquoise waters. For those of you unfamiliar, Torch Lake is an insanely gorgeous turquoise color and you can see so deep because of it's clean beautiful waters. The water includes shells, rocks, sand and a few other treasures found all around Michigan. Check it out if you get the chance!! This piece can also be hung in a window where light can come through as displayed in the second photo. I love when art can have more than one view so it would change from morning till night. This is one of those pieces that I hope you continue to find little hidden treasures in it for years to come.
