Oh boy y'all... I had some fun with this one. I am guessing if you are reading this then you probably like spending way too much time searching for the prettiest rocks! Welcome! It's just so fun to see what treasures the depths will bring you. I wanted this piece to look as if the rock was coming through the grain and each little window contains a painted mimic of 3 well known Michigan stones, the Petosky stone, Lake Superior Agate and last but never least, the amazing Yooperlite! I did my best to hand paint a similar surface to each then covered with resin so it will always have that "wet" look. But to take the bottom section one step further, I added a UV reactive mica powder to some pigment to make a paint that would react to blacklight similar to the way Yooperlite would. I was so excited for how this turned out! I love interactive pieces!! I have shown that in the video. It remains glowing depending on how long it was subject to the light. And yes, the light comes with it! The fun can start right away!! And the beads hanging at the very bottom are Petosky Stones that taper down to an actual Yooperlite arrowhead!! Crystals and agates hang above to create lovely movement. Show off your crystals, stones, essential oils or any other smaller trinkets that you love!!
