This piece has a whole lot of everything! The background on this piece is actually crumpled up tinfoil painted with alcohol inks in rainbow array of colors and covered with resin. I then sanded the back to reveal some clear areas through the resin. The next layer contains a black resin heart with a paw print cutout and layered with another black resin cutout in the shape if Michigan. I then filled every nook and cranny with treasures from mushrooms, to butterflies, to bright green moss, to crystals, to dried flowers and greenery. I then splattered a rainbow of color shifting paints around the edge. My goal was bright and happy just like our pets make us feel!! The top is hand beaded and the paw print hanging underneath is holographic and would look glorious in the sun!! I hope you enjoy this piece!!
